Welcome to Cloud 9 Photography Scenic and Wildlife Galleries! I grew up in the small town of McCook Lake, in southeast South Dakota. This is where the Big Sioux and Missouri rivers converge, and was a great watery place to spend my childhood. Our family was lucky enough to have nice oxbow lake for a back yard, and I was always fascinated with all the animals that lived in and around the lake. I was just as interested in the obscure creatures in the undergrowth as I was in the iconic wildlife. And being a fly fisherman, I am always interested in the insect life in the river ecosystems, as they are the main food source for trout. The images contained in this Gallery are a collection of our favorite pictures from the world of arthropods. We hope you enjoy viewing the images!
